What's New:
3/16/10 It's been a while. What with record snow falls and digging out, being an indentured servant to my wife in her remodeling quest, and what not I haven't had a chance to get into my shop in nearly 4 months. I'm hoping that will come to an end soon. In the mean time I'm happy to finally place prices on the limited edition pens and more details as to why they are limited editions. Also, look for something new and hopefully very unique in the near future as I try out a few new media and bring some jewelry to the site as well.

10/27/09 My pens were presented to the Honorable George Schultz and the Honorable Henry Kissinger for their participation in the 25th Anniversary dinner of the US-ASEAN Business Council. See the pic and video at the bottom of the FAQ.

9/18/09 All updated, including some great items for Charity (Breast Cancer Research) and finally a pen made from Irish Bog Yew (very hard to come by).

9/2/09 Been away for a while but have some interesting things on the way and some new pens to add over the next couple days. Don't forget to check out the pens on Slender pens which are all on sale.

6/30/09 All updated with everything I have at the moment. I've reformatted the descriptions so they are easy to glance through, and removed all duplicate entries to prevent confusion. I have another great style that will be showing up shortly and I'll be making more of the Click soon also.

6/14/09 It's been a hectic month for me at the day job, but I've finally finished some new pieces. Look for them in the next couple days in all categories.

Also, Coming Soon, Irish Bog Yew. This is the hardest stuff to get a hold of and I've finally located several good sized pieces to work with.

4/29/09 ALL Slender Pens are on SALE!!!!

4/17/09 Added 2 Click pens and 2 Large Ballpoints. 3 Fountain Pens are nearly complete.

The Mobile
Platinum Series
American Line
Material: Chittum Burl (American Smoke Tree Root Burl)
Hardware: Platinum and Black Titanium plating
Refill: International style ink cartridge or ink pump (supplied)
Length: 5.5 inches capped
Thickness: .6 inches
Limited Edition #: 0001

Chittum Burl, also know as American Smoke Tree Root Burl, is one of the hardest American burls to obtain. The reason is that while the tree is found throughout the country, only in certain areas of mainly Alabama do the conditions allow for this wood to produce the amazing figure seen in these pieces. The root burls are formed only when the root in confined in limestone formations and must be chiseled or blasted out (can we say Dynamite?). Due to these means of getting the burl out of the ground, it is not commonly seen. I have only been able to get THREE pieces. This particular piece has some amazing curl that doesn't show up well in the pictures, the next pen I make will have eye clusters in it.

The Cabo San Lucas
Platinum Series
South American Line
Material: Cocobolo Burl
Hardware: Platinum and Black Titanium plating
Refill: International style ink cartridge or ink pump (supplied)
Length: 5.25 inches capped
Thickness: .6 inches
Limited Edition #: 0002

By far, one of the rarest burls in the world. Many woodworkers have gone so far as to say that it doesn't exist. With many people selling Cocobolo with knots and even Honduras Rosewood Burl as Cococbolo Burl its not hard to see why people are skeptical. But this is actually Burl cut from a Cocobolo tree, and I actually know who cut the burl. While extremely rare, I have been able to get 3 pieces of this amazing wood. I looked for nearly 3 years before finding this limited supply and I have no idea when I might find the next piece.

The Cabo San Lucas - $350

The Goryshche
Rose Series
Skinz Line
Named for a Russian Dragon

Material: 10,000 year old Siberian Mammoth Ivory
Hardware: Rose Gold and Black Titanium plating
Refill: Parker style
Length: 4.875 inches
Thickness: .5 inches
Limited Edition #: 0003

Finding pieces of Mammoth Ivory large enough to make even this small pen from is difficult. Usually when you find larger pieces of Mammoth they are collectors items unto themselves with prices that would make you think I had a typo. I got lucky and received a "large" piece in a batch that I purchased for jewelry and inlay work and was able to make this one small pen. When and if I can find another piece this size is anyone's guess.

The Goryshche - $300
